In Literacy we are again enjoying reading Greek myths and are producing writing and artwork to make a wall display. Parables in RE will also give us a chance to write and illustrate. We are looking forward to making a wide variety of things using instructions.

In Numeracy we are busy consolidating and building on our knowledge from the Autumn term.

Science includes a range of investigations using magnets and springs and catapulting with elastic bands! In the second half of the term we will have another opportunity to look at children’s extensive rock collections as we delve into rocks and soils. We will be using our ICT skills across all curriculum areas and our ICT topic, Simulations, allows for science simulations as well as ‘playing’ some simulation games.

In Geography we will soon be able to name some of the world’s climatic zones and to describe the predominant weather and how people adapt to extreme conditions. Then it’s on to the ever-popular Tudors in History.
