Dedham C of E Primary School
2010
Dedham Primary School is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England school currently of about 200 pupils.
The school is situated in a very pleasant, quiet location, within walking distance of the church and village. The grounds of the school, including two hard play areas, are extensive and this gives plenty of space for sports and play.
There is a very close partnership between the school, governors, parents and the wider community and this is at the heart of the success of the school over recent years. We are proud to have, "To Nuture a life-long love of learning" as our mission statement.
Children go to the church for services at various times of the year and the vicar comes to school to take assemblies, which the children enjoy. Year 5 and Year 6 have visited major religious sites through the generosity of The William Burkitt Trust.
